SHARK BAY 

A quiet aerial view of Shark Bay unfolds as a place of stillness and gentle movement. Raw, earthy reds and ochres hold the land with a sense of age and grounding, while soft mineral blues gather and pool, edged by pale, salt-like formations. The water slips through the landscape in a slow, deliberate line—connecting, carving, and sustaining.

From above, the composition becomes less about location and more about feeling. The contrast between the dense, textured earth and the calm, open water creates a space to pause. These raw colours and organic forms invite a quiet reflection—an unhurried moment of rest, where the landscape breathes and the viewer is gently held within it.

This print is produced from an original painting by Australian landscape artist Simone Read and is embossed stamped with logo for authenticity. Limited Edition of 75. 

Print is produced on Canson 310gsm photo rag paper with 12 colour pigment ink.

FURTHER INFORMATION

Unframed prints require delicate handling to avoid fingerprints, dust or damage to paper, and therefore will be carefully packaged in a protective cylinder. Once an order is received by the purchaser, my recommendation is for a chosen professional framer to open the cylinder and frame the print to avoid damage. It is not recommended that a store bought frame is used as they are rarely an archival quality, meaning that the print may attract moisture, mould and discolouration over time. Any damage incurred once removed from their protective cylinder, will not be the responsibility of Simone Read Art. As prints are a representation of an original artwork, variations in colour may occur when viewed on different devices. As prints are made to order, once an order is placed no exchange or refund is offered. All images remain the property of Simone Read Art and may not be replicated or reproduced.
