As the enhanced La Niña climate occasion transformed life on the Australian east coast into an overwhelming flooded mess, it also played a role in helping bring the immense desert Lake Eyre to life. The varying transformations of the landscape displays amazing pink and apricot colours, or when its full it resembles a mirror and you lose your viewpoint in the jade greens and earthy neutrals.
